EXHIBITOR ID: n/a PASSWORD: n/a Make Sure to Test Your Live Demos This Week! Those who are listed as a presenter for Live Demos during PACK EXPO Connects should have received an email from Map Your Show listing the date, time and how to test your live demos. Testing your Live Demos is key to ensuring you don’t run into any issues during the event. Also, this will allow you to reach out to one of our team members if you need help troubleshooting your issue. Here are some Best Practices and Technical Specs prior to setting up and testing your presentation.
Last Chance to Promote your Showroom and Live Demos to Customers! As critical as it is to have a complete showroom and to test any Live Demos, it is equally as important to promote your presence to your customers and prospects. The Customer Invite Program (CIP) makes it easy to invite prospective buyers to register and visit your showroom and Live Demos. CIP provides you with a personalized invitation link and a full set of customized pre-show marketing materials, all in one organized dashboard. All materials include trackable links so that you can measure your success and connect with registrants in advance. To access your Customized marketing materials, login to your Exhibitor Dashboard and click on the Customer Invite Program tile.
Code of Conduct – Attending Competitors Demos PMMI Media Group is relying on the professionalism and ethics of its exhibitors and attendees to help ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct. Attendance at a product service demonstration or virtual chat session should be limited to customers, prospective customers, and invited guests of the sponsoring exhibitor. In particular, no person may attend a product service demonstration or virtual chat session if they are an employee or other representative of a firm that competes in any respect with the sponsoring exhibitor. All exhibitors have the ability to see who is planning to attend their demo, and all attendees that are logged in to view it. There are safeguards in place via the platform that will allow exhibitors to delete comments or remove anyone in violation of the code of conduct from their demos. If an exhibitor notices a competitor registered for their demo in advance of PACK EXPO Connects, please email quality@packexpoconnects.com with the competitor name, email, company and the demo they are registered for in order to have them removed from the demo. Be Sure You Don’t Miss any Live Chats When an attendee connects with you via the Live Chat feature, keep the following in mind so you don’t miss this one chance to interact with a potential buyer: 1. Be sure anyone staffing your showroom is logged into their MyConnect Planner and has the Live Chat window open. 2. We suggest using two monitors/screens when “active” on Live Chat, as you will not see any alert if the window is hidden. 3. When an attendee wants to chat with someone in your showroom, a subtle “ding” will be heard and a name will appear in the chat window. 4. If you are logged into MyConnects Planner, but do not have the Live Chat window open, an alert showing “You have one new message” will appear at the top of your planner page, but no sound will accompany this text alert. 5. Make sure you actually “log out” of your MyConnects Planner account if you no longer want to be shown as “active”. Simply closing the chat or MyConnects Planner window will not log you out, and in fact will still show you as “active”. If logged out, you will no longer be shown as “active”. Use a Microphone During Live Demos Did you know attendees may not be able to hear your presenter clearly if they are talking while demoing a machine? To give attendees the best experience possible and for the presenter to feel confident viewers are able to hear them clearly, we suggest using an external microphone. This will allow the presenter to cut through the noise of the machine and successfully promote your brand’s solution. Our videographer recommends ordering this reliable, inexpensive microphone, that will get to you in just a few days!
Don’t Forget About the Exhibitor Success Center Now is a good time to refresh your memory on how to log in to your showroom if you need to make any last-minute changes, watch tutorials on Live Demos and Live Chat, add Virtual Business Cards and more. Reach Top Industry Media To amplify your reach, we encourage exhibitors to let the media know about new products and innovations, invite them to a virtual media event or coordinate interviews. You can find a comprehensive media list here.
