Back by popular demand, the Technology Excellence Awards return to PACK EXPO International in 2024!

The Technology Excellence Awards recognize exhibitors' innovations. All registered exhibitors of PACK EXPO International 2024 are encouraged to submit an application highlighting an innovative product or technology they have developed that has not yet been shown at a previous PACK EXPO trade show.

Submit your innovative product or technology and gain the chance to receive premium exposure for both your product and your brand. Finalists gain extensive coverage through several media outlets of the show, such as editorial coverage in multiple issues of the Show Daily and in Packaging World’s PACK EXPO International Showcase. The winner of each category will be announced via a press release Tuesday afternoon of the show and will also receive coverage in the Wednesday edition of the Show Daily, on the show website, and in social media postings.

Selection

3 finalists will be selected per category and will receive extensive media coverage leading up to the show. Onsite coverage includes the Show Daily, a press release, and social media. Additionally at the show, finalists’ photo and product summary will be available to attendees within the voting application. The winner of each category will be announced via a press release Tuesday afternoon of the show and will receive coverage in the Wednesday edition of the Show Daily, on the website, and in social media.

Contest Rules & Procedures

Submissions will be accepted through June 19, 2024
Only exhibitors that have reserved booth space at the show with their account in good standing are eligible to enter.
To qualify for entry, the product must not have been shown at a previous PACK EXPO trade show.
After a product has been judged, that same product cannot be entered again unless it has undergone a significant update or revision that dramatically enhances its functionality.
Each entry must be accompanied by a non-refundable $100 entry fee.
Exhibitors may enter a single product in up to now more than two categories.
Entrants must select a category for each product submission.
On the entry form, exhibitors will be asked to describe their technology, submit a photo, and state why their entry deserves to be selected (limit 250 words).
Submissions will be reviewed by a set of highly established panelists from leading industry associations and publications, to be announced in mid-July.

Additional promotion this year!

To further promote your innovation to the industry, PMMI will be producing a compilation video of all finalists per category for select premier media channels to announce and promote to their communities. As such, PMMI is requesting all finalists to submit a short video for these promotional efforts and announcement to the world of your unique technology. We will be encouraging packaging and processing manufacturers to see it live at PACK EXPO International and to vote for their choice of finalist.
