Rising leaders in packaging and processing teed-up for a few rounds of golf, networking, and fun on Sept. 11 at the Young Professionals Networking Reception at Top Golf in Las Vegas. The 171 young professionals gathered at the sold-out event which was part of PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2023. Sponsored by Beckhoff, the reception has become a tradition at PACK EXPO among the Young Professionals Network, which strives to advance the industry through its next generation of leaders. The reception gave these emerging leaders a chance to connect and network with other up-and-coming peers and perfect their golf swings at the same time! This year’s PACK EXPO Las Vegas was the largest in the show’s 15-year history with over 32,000 attendees. Workforce issues remain top-of-mind in the industry, especially finding the next generation of packaging and processing professionals. Events like the Young Professionals Networking Reception are just one of the many ways PMMI engages entry to mid-level professionals ages 40 and younger to excel and advance in their careers.
