Reminder: PACK EXPO Connects Virtual Code of Conduct PACK EXPO Connects is committed to providing a safe, productive and welcoming environment. All event participants have agreed to and are expected to abide by the virtual code of conduct. It is against the Code of Conduct to attend a competitor’s demo. The Exhibitor and PMMI have the right to remove and block participants that are competitors from attending a demo, which may result in your planner being deactivated. Failure to abide by the virtual code of conduct may result in the immediate deactivation of your MyConnects Planner account for PACK EXPO Connects and could also result in future restrictions on attendance of PMMI events, loss of priority points at a future trade show or possible termination of PMMI membership. Please review the virtual code of conduct and share with your colleagues to ensure everyone is aware of the expectations of all participants. It is our goal to provide a safe and positive experience for all. Direct any questions to the show department at expo@pmmi.org. Test your Live Demos! There are under 2 weeks until November 9! We want to make sure your Live Demo presenter has tested their demos prior to event. We’ve created a step-by-step how-to guide to access the Presenter Portal and test Live Demos. Those who are listed as a presenter for Live Demos during PACK EXPO Connects should have received an email from Map Your Show listing the date, time and how to test your live demos. Testing your Live Demos is key to ensuring you don’t run into any issues during the event. Also, this will allow you to reach out to one of our team members if you need help troubleshooting your issue. If you have not yet tested your Live Demo, we will be reaching out to you to remind you and help you initiate testing so you and your staff are confident. Here are some Best Practices and Technical Specs prior to setting up and testing your presentation. We want to be sure you are fully prepared come time for your Live Demo, and are here for any questions you have as you test. Our full resource library of Live Demo educational items is available, and please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have additional questions. With only 15 minutes per demo, there will not be sufficient time to address technical difficulties and resolve them during your allotted demo time the week of PACK EXPO Connects. Testing in advance is critical to a successful demo. Reach Prospects with Customized Pre-show Marketing Materials from Nvytes PACK EXPO Connects has teamed up with Nvytes to produce free marketing tools for exhibitors. The Customer Invite Program (CIP) makes it easy to invite prospective buyers to register and visit your showroom. CIP provides you with a personalized invitation link and a full set of customized pre-show marketing materials, all in one organized dashboard. All materials include trackable links so that you can measure your success and connect with registrants in advance. Exhibitors were sent an introductory email outlining this program on September 30. You can access the program from the exhibitor dashboard at any time.
Looking for additional insights about those who register with your CIP link? Prospects who register with your Customer Invite Program (CIP) link will appear in your LeadWorks leads management platform, which offers additional data to help your sales team prioritize. Learn if your CIP registrant (or others at their company) have engaged with your digital campaigns in the last six months. And, if you’d like to see prospect activity on your website, PMMI Media Group offers a free, privacy-compliant beacon, called Scout, which is easy to install. Scout will reveal pages visited on your site by CIP registrants and your PACK EXPO Connects leads. Contact Wendy Sawtell to learn more and get started. Reach Top Industry Media To amplify your reach, we encourage exhibitors to let the media know about new products and innovations, invite them to a virtual media event or coordinate interviews. You can find a comprehensive media list here.
